The Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Noir grape varieties play a special role. The exciting thing about our regional wines is that the grapes grow under the same climatic conditions and yet develop different aromas because they grow on different soils and are always cared for differently by the winemakers.

Lake Constance is an absolute paradise for water lovers. Clear water, beautiful sandy beaches and the incomparable Swiss Alps ensure fantastic summer bathing fun.

The Pfänder - Best viewing point in the Lake Constance region
The cable car ride to the Pfänder takes just 6 minutes - but it's an experience you won't forget in a hurry. Once you've reached the top at 1,064 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of Lake Constance and over 200 Alpine peaks in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Children especially admire the vulture flight show at the eagle observatory. You can also explore the Alpine wildlife park, go hiking or just enjoy the great view from the terrace of the mountain inn.
Other great excursions can be made to Meersburg (the oldest inhabited castle in Germany), to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen (one of the largest waterfalls in Europe), to the Birnau pilgrimage church, etc. - the possibilities are almost endless.
